Lies and misconceptions.. Lies, and the experts that tell them and misconceptions about misconceptions. Most of us, when making a broad statement and knowing that there are contrary facts, would qualify the statement or acknowledge that there are circumstances which may be interpreted otherwise. Not Muslims. Even when they know something is untrue, they promote it as truth, because truth is less important than promoting Islam. Thus, we have lie after lie, without shame. On this page you will find a few examples of falsehoods by Muslim writers, clerics and experts that cannot be attributed to ignorance or misunderstanding. They should know better. My guess is that they do know better but would like you to believe what they are saying. The truth is so much uglier. (11/2007)
Censored! Again. So much for dialogue. At least I tried. The problem is that Muslims don't want to hear what others say about Islam - unless, of course, they say the sweet, nice things that Muslims want to hear. Anything that relates to difficult issues in Islam is often deleted, ignored or denounced as 'hate' and 'ignorance'. If a person wants to learn about Islam, he should research and analyze both sides of the story and most of all he should read the Quran, the hadiths and the original sources including the early biographies of Islam's prophet. Oh yes, it is not just Muslims that are censoring people that say unkind (but true!) things about Islam. (07/2007)
Suspicious, very suspicious. A person would have to be blind not to notice that the Quran is full of special cases and exceptions -- for Mohammad. I find it rather dubious. Why don't Muslims consider it strange that a book that was supposed to exist from all eternity has so many little rules to benefit the messenger? Most people would have been suspicious about the obvious fact that Allah made so many special exceptions just for Mohammad, or why he whispered them into Mohammad's ear only. I think what is need is a cluemeter, an instrument that detects suspicious behavior.
Blame it on.... In cases you haven't noticed, Muslims have an infinite number of excuses for their actions and their doctrine. To make it easy for Muslims, I have collected actual explanations (ie, justifications or excuses) from the Internet for the bombings, murders, riots, hate and other violence done (allegedly done!) by Muslims and have adapted them to serve as guidelines or rules to explain these things. I am listing these here to help Muslims. In fact, when confronted with any comment they don't like, Muslims can use one or more of these "rules" to explain any issues that non-Muslims may have with Islam. This keeps them from having to think or even read their own writings!
Hard things, or Apologetics. This is about those diffcult issues that are often (almost always) ignored by Muslims. It is about what they call "islamophobia". It is about Islamic apologetics, or in other words, how Muslims explain and justify the hard things, ie. the difficult questions about the hate and violence in the Quran and the many evil actions of its prophet recorded in Islam's early writings. Note: of course, the word 'evil' only applies if you consider attacks on villages and caravans, killing, plunder, torture, rape, oppression and beating women to be wrong.(09/2007)
Mustaliq! A look at events at a small quiet village in old Arabia, 1200 year ago. What happened at Banu Mustaliq? What do Muslims say about the attack? This page investigates what Muslims Internet sites say about Mohammad's attack on that village and what happened to the people there. Do the describe those events accurately? Do they omit details? This page also looks at the original Islamic sources. It is not a nice story. It is about violence, killing, plunder, slavery, rape and people that refuse to be honest about things that are written in their own traditions and histories.(08/2007)
Stupid things my Imam told me. Some people collect stamps or coins. I collect stupid things that some people say, particularly Muslims. I want to make it clear that Muslims do not have a monopoly on stupidity - much to the contrary. However, the things they say and do almost make other religions look racional and benevolent. When it comes to shear utter unadulterated stupidity - and evil - Islam is in a class by itself. The things one finds on Muslim sites are absolutely outragious, or downright false, or even worse, vile. I didn't make this stuff up. Muslims will say what they want to believe is true, without regard to facts, truth and honesty. (05/2007)
Free speech! A newspaper writer points out the danger of driving moderates into the arms of the radicals by condeming Islam. To a certain extent the article hit home. It is food for thought, for sure. Certainly I may be placed in the Islam is Evil crowd. He says we should not be critical of Islam because it will make matters worse. He says that people that criticize the hate and violence in Islam are the real villians. Not only that, this columnist clearly says that it is because of us that the so-called moderate Muslims cannot recapture their faith from the radicals. It is all our fault. (04/2007)
Women and Islam. This page is about women and Islam, or what Islam has done to women. It is about the abuse and misogyny that Islam teaches in the Quran and ahadith. It is about rape and violence and excuses that Muslims make for those who do evil in the name of their religion. It is about the vile things said about women on Islamic Internet sites. It is about the silly, vile rules that Muslims impose on women. It is about three courageous women: Wafa Sultan, Hirsi Ali and Oriana Fallaci and how they are hated and persecuted by Muslims for their ideas.
Cartoons of Mohammed. This is about the drawings published in a Danish newspaper (and other places) that caused outrage all over Europe and the Muslim world. The fact is that this 'Cartoon War' is good because the publishing of the 12 drawings (or 15 if you count the 3 vile contributions by the Muslims themselves) brings out into the open fundamental issues that we must resolve - not that I think we can do it. And if it is resolved, there will be another incident a week, or month later. This is not going to end soon or peacefully. (03/2006)
Excuses. This is an investigation into the death of a woman named Asma bint Marwan and the the role of the prophet Mohammad in this tragic event. As a general rule, Muslims prefer to not discuss anything about Islam that is difficult to explain. This is not just Islam, but human nature. However, sometimes we find Islamic sites that address these difficult issues. I have searched the Internet to find out how Muslims justify this event. The questions are: Did it happen? Why? Can a person criticize Mohammad? Did she deserve to die in the middle of the night while nursing a child? Was this story a forgery? Was it made up by Jews to descredit Islam? (03/2006)
Liberty - Religious Freedom. This page is about liberty. It is about our freedoms. It is about the right to live, pursue happiness, to worship as we please, or not worship -- and the right to have opinions and express them. It is about the right to criticize our leaders or anybody else. This page contains a collection of articles from around the world about the ever increasing intolerance of Muslims towards others. These articles demonstrate how Islam (and its friends) are working everywhere around the world to end our freedoms, silence critics, and to extend their doctrine of oppression. (08/2007)
Riots in France.
The Copts..
Fjordman farewell. This is a page I wrote to put on a website (Fjordman's blog). He asked for comments about Islam's Weak Points. In fact, I would not even say 'weak' because that implies that Islam has 'strong' points. It doesn't. Anyway, I would like to share my thoughts and experiences with Muslims on Internet forums and blogs. For several months I have tried to reason with them about their religion, their prophet and the impact of Islam in the world. This page is an attempt to summerize my thoughts on Islam and give the reader an idea of the challenges we face and the dangers that imperil our human rights. (12/2005)
Hate - So I Hate, do I? . It is inevitable that anyone saying unkind things about Islam or its prophet will be accused of hate, racism, islamophobia, beating his wife, having sex with hamsters, etc... Why argue a point when you can make stupid accusations? The concept of "you hate" is meaningless unless a person explains what is hated and why. This is from a Muslim blog in which I was accused of being a hater. For a minute I thought we would have a racional, objective discussion, then I was banned, censured and deleted - again. But I kept copies of the screens and text before my martyred words went to collect their 72 virgin letters in prose paradise.
Fools-R-US. How foolish can you get?
Marriage to Saudis (12/2004) I found this old page on my hard drive and decided to post it here. It is a webpage from the US State department about the problems of Americans that marry Saudi nationals and the issues they often face. It was removed because of Saudi pressure, because there is a certain negative tone to the information provided. I am posting it here as a public service. Later: I have also added a few pages about Non-Muslim women and kidnapped children and about Western women caught in poligamy nightmares.
Islam and Europe (12/2004) Europe has taken the devil to bed, and now is in trouble. After 50 years of condemning America for her race problems, Europe finds itself living with a problem that is the same, but much, much worse. So the seeds of multiculturalism and post-modernism, planted a generation ago, have matured and born fruit. Instead of the joyful harvest of love and happiness, as promised, European are eating the bitter pulp of hate and anger. It will get worse!
The Tragedy of Darfur (9/2004) The tragedy in Africa for this year is called "Darfur". Its not really a new problem, and the players in the tragedy are some of the usual suspects. The government of Sudan has been murdering its own people for decades; this year it just picked a different group. Rather than brutalizing its Christian population in the South, it has chosen to help its Muslim Arabs anniliate their black Muslim neighbors. Arabs and Muslims killing blacks is OK, I guess, as far as most of the world is concerned.
About Islam (8/2004). The followers of Islam have a very definite inability to discuss issues with which they are uncomfortable, even if they are very simple, historical facts. Muslims have a tendency to twist and redefine things, ignoring the obvious, or worse, they have a certain propensity to resort to violence. This page is about different aspects relating to my views on Islam.
The Bishop speaks (5/2004) No good deed left unpunished... Comments on a speech by Lord Carey, former Archbishop of Canterbury, about Islam. Most Muslims refuse to even admit that Islam has problems, much less that it is itself part of the problem. They insist that Islam and its troubles - moral, social and political - not be part of any dialogue with the West.
Foreign terrorists. The following is the official prepared statement of Steven Emerson before the Senate Judiciary Committee's Subcommittee on Terrorism, Technology, and Government Information, on February 24, 1998. This document is perhaps the most important statement made to any congressional committee in the last 100 years. This is the story of Islamic terror in the US - five years after the first World Trade Center Bombing and three and a half years before the attack on September 11, 2001. I am posting it here as a public service. Nothing has changed.
"Man will occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of the time he will pick himself up and continue on. (WC)
A letter to PBS (2/2003). This is the letter that started it all and probably led to this website. After watching the PBS program Muhammad, Legacy of a Prophet, I decided I had to do something about the many 'facts' that were not 'facts' at all - not to mention the omissions. I found the program to be basically a piece of propaganda, without any alternative, critical views. I could have lived with that, after all a very favorable view of Big Mo and Islam was to be expected. However, that wasn't the end of the story. It gets worse...
“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men. Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities - but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilisation of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilisation of ancient Rome.”
(Winston Churchill, from The River War, 1899).
