Europe has taken the devil to bed, and now is in trouble. You know, what goes around, come around. After 50 years of condemning America for her race problems, Europe finds itself living with a problem that is the same, but much, much worse. How amusing! So the seeds of multiculturalism and post-modernism, planted a generation ago, have matured and born fruit. Instead of the joyful fruit of love and happiness, as promised, European are eating the bitter pulp of hate and anger. And it will only get worse.

This is mostly about Islam and Europe, and is a commentary of current events in the Old World....

RIP, Theo Van Gogh, obnoxious bastard! We will miss you.
Here is how the New York Times responded today (5/dec/2004) to the horrific murder of Theo Van Gogh and the ensuing arrest of nine Islamic militants:
Something sad and terrible is happening to the Netherlands, long one of Europe's most tolerant, decent and multicultural societies... Urgent efforts are needed to better manage the cultural tensions perilously close to the surface of Dutch public life. The problem is not Muslim immigration, but a failure to plan for a smoother transition to a more diverse society. One very real danger is that the public trauma over the van Gogh murder may lead to a clamor for anti-Muslim policies that could victimize thousands of innocent refugees and immigrants. The challenge for Dutch political leaders is to find ways to reverse this disturbing trend of politically motivated violence without making it harder to achieve cultural harmony.

This quote above is reported by Powerline blog (click for site), which I highly recommend. Notice how blame for Van Gogh's murder rests not with the killers, but with the Dutch government's "failure to plan for a smoother transition to a more diverse society." This, my friends, is the essence of multiculturalism. All non Western cultures must be respected and even praised, anything that is Western is trash. By the same token, the West must adjust and accommodate (ie, pander) to any and all aspects of non-western cultures, and never, ever say anything critical about them.

Van Gogh was shot, and then, while still alive, he was stabbed repeatedly and his throat was cut - so much that he was practically beheaded. The murderer then stuck a five-page letter to Van Gogh's body with the knife; the letter threatened certain Dutch politicians. The fact is that this murderer enjoys quite a bit of support among European Muslims (or as one of them said, Muslims in Europe. See if you can figure out the difference). Today, as I write, the people who threaten others openly walk the streets of Holland, and those that were threatened by Van Gogh's murderer and his friends are in hiding. Is there something wrong here, or am I justy an old, cranky fool?

It will get worse. Let me say it as bluntly as I can, in simple words: If Europeans do not act to change things, they and their families will become slaves to a religious ideology saturated with hate, discrimination and corruption. If Europeans do not make drastic changes to their social policy, they will be dragged down to the barbarism that is so often a characteristic of Islam, the women of Europe will be taken as spoil, and their children will be fed the milk of hate from the mouths of sadistic, brutal Imans. The freedoms developed for 500 years will become vague memories, and the art and literature of the World's greatest civilization will be obiterated from the face of the earth. Oh yes, you can forget your pensions, too. So, my dear European friends, be sure to thank your multicultural gods for all this now, or you can do it later when you raise your fat asses as you prey towards Mecca, wondering all the time what went wrong? On the good side, you will still be able to hate America and the Jews - they won't take that away from you!

That statement was pretty clear. Maybe a little drastic, but probably not too far off the mark. The fact is that Islamic immigration is a low level jihad, and slowly Europe is surrendering its soul to a barbaric cult that is exactly the opposite of everything Europe says it represents. The people of Europe are being betrayed by their leaders and intellectuals. These, the prophets of multiculturalism and political correctness, have preached a gospel of tolerance and diversity, while feeding the beasts of intolerance and revulsion. Slowly, people in Germany, France, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Belgium and Holland are waking up and asking themselves: how did this happen to us?

So, as unrest grows among the Europeans, what do their leaders and intellectuals say? Do they apologize? Do they admit that "Multiculturalism" and "diversity" have created a gigantic, ugly problem. Que nada! Their answer is to do more of the same: more tolerance, more special privileges for immigrants, more immigrants, and more money. According to these people, the problem - if there is a problem - is because Europe has not done enough to accommodate foreigners. Europeans have not been tolerant enough and/or respectful of their cultures, or have not spent enough money, . Bla, bla, bla...

Now a quote from Fjordman (click for site) that pretty much says it like it is: Europe is now home to a human flood of North African immigrants who reject integration, don't speak the local language and flock to mosques to soak up radical imams preaching jihad. Violent crime against Jews and young women has skyrocketed; native Europeans are emigrating in record numbers; and churches, synagogues and cemeteries are regularly defaced. Through the EAD, Europe has imported all the problems of failed states, while the Arab side of the table basically gives the Euros a pat on the head for being so tolerant and multicultural. Under the guise of "interfaith dialogue," the Vatican, regretfully, has been a willing partner in European submission. Day by day for 30 years, the E.U. has ceded tiny bits of its sovereignty and cultural identity, transforming the heart of the West into a subservient province of the global caliphate. Just as that other tiny minority of extremists did in the 1930s, Islamists have assumed dominance in Europe. It's hard to say whether the European elites are merely flinching doilies or active collaborators. But it hardly matters. I'm sure they won't be whining about preemption and unilateralism when it's time to dial America for help again.

Maybe the Norwegian guy is paranoid, or maybe not... Here is a quote from Saudi Sheikh Muhammad bin Abd Al-Rahman Al-'Arifi (Wow! What a name!), Imam of the mosque of King Fahd Defense Academy, on the Kalemat website: "...We will control the land of the Vatican; we will control Rome and introduce Islam in it. Yes, the Christians, who carve crosses on the breasts of the Muslims... will yet pay us the Jiziya [tax paid by non-Muslim and second-class citizens under Muslim rule], in humiliation, or they will convert to Islam..."

Note: Van Gogh was not the first person in the West to be murdered by Islamic thugs. Perhaps that 'honor' goes to Rashad Khalifa, a controversial figure considered to be a heretic (kafir) by many Muslims because of his interpretation of the Koran (Qur'an). On January 31, 1990, Khalifa was stabbed to death in a Tucson, Arizona mosque, after a fatwa was issued against him by the 11th Majlis al-Fuqaha' (Council of Religious Scholars) in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. So you see, Islamic terror is right down the road. And these people say Islam is a "Religion of Peace".

Multiculturalism is a one way street....

"Those whom the Gods wish to destroy, They first make mad." (Euripides). So it is... Europe has embraced a policially correct, multicultural madness that blinds it to the monster it is breeding in the guest room. "Maybe if I feed it and be nice to it, and say kinds things about it, maybe it will not eat me... Please, oh please."

Islam and Europe. The simple fact is that the ideology of Political Correctness is totally hypocritical, because it applies different standards to different people and cultures. What 'multiculturalism' teaches is basically "We will respect you, but you don't have to respect us, or our laws and customs, because we are so swallow and you are so pure. We will not criticize your beliefs and customs, no matter how vile or horrid they may be. What ever happens, its our fault, always. Be nice to us, please, please. Oh yes, here is some money..." That, in a nutshell, is multiculturalism as practiced in Europe.

OK, now let me add the fine print. Not all Muslims are intolerant or evil -- much to the contrary. A large majority will live and let live, but only to a certain extent. The fact is that the moderates and peaceful Muslims cannot and will not stand up to the radicals. They will make excuses and say that is not the "real Islam". They will then start the usual liturgy of distortions, half-truths and outright lies: Islam is tolerant and the word means "peace"; jihad mean "internal struggle", Islam respects "people of the book", bla, bla, bla, so on and so forth, etc... The bottom line is this: Until Christians and other religions, and women and gays, have the same rights in Islamic countries as Muslims do in the West, and when one can freely talk about historical aspects of the their prophet and Quran without fear of death and torture, then and only then should any respect be accorded to this religion. Does anybody have a problem with this? It sounds very reasonable to me, but don't hold your breath. Based upon my research and understanding it is clear to me that the moment Muslims gain control of a country, out go human right, equality, freedom of expression, religious liberty, and democracy, and in come sharia law, oppression, discrimination, censorship, and hatred.

I am going to transcribe below a few reports about Muslims and their actions. Remember, these are not typical of all Muslims, but the problems and issues presented here are seem to specifically to relate to Muslims and their culture. Here is a list of the reports that follow:

I could add a dozen more stories, but these have been selected to give you an idea of the extent of the problem.

1. Girls Terrorized in France

The story was taken from yahoo.com. It was entitled "Girls Terrorized in France's Macho High-Rise Ghettos", and dated Fri Feb 28, 9:46 AM ET, By Catherine Bremer, filed from Vitry-Sur-Seine, France (Reuters)
Dressed like boy rappers, four young women scurry toward their apartment tower home, and try not to think about the 17-year-old girl named Sohane burned to death in a nearby garbage depot by a local teen-age boy.
Their figures masked by puffy jackets and baggy pants, they steal past some adolescent boys, baseball caps worn backwards, who are kicking a ball hard against a wall across the street.
"Boys and girls don't mix here," explains 19-year-old Sonja.
A short bus ride from Paris, a world capital of romance, teen-age girls trapped in soulless, Soviet-style housing complexes are too scared to wear skirts and balk at the idea of dating.
Imprisoned behind yellowed curtains that hang limply at windows, they stay indoors to avoid the jeers, bullying and the ominous risk of rape that lurks in dingy stairwells where gangs of boys of mostly North African origin hang out.
"It's everywhere, all the time. Beatings, rapes, the lot. The worst is the names they call you, especially if you're dressed in a girly way which makes you a slut," says Amel, 21.
Home to many immigrants from the Maghreb, such suburbs have seen a rise in radical Islam that has turned attitudes toward women even harsher. Pressure is mounting for Muslim women to wear veils and forced marriages that snatch girls from college and a career are now commonplace. Those that do not conform pay the price. "The minute you show your face the insults start. You just put your head down and keep walking. The worst thing to do is answer back, because then they get aggressive," says Amel.
The teen-ager told police he was angry with Sohane for snubbing his advances when he lured her into a refuse depot, so he doused her with petrol and threatened her with a lighter.
The tragedy, which left Sohane rolling in agony on a patch of grass to try to extinguish the flames before she later died in hospital, was just the worst in a sea of attacks by minors.
Yet it was horrific enough to spark a feminist revolution that is spreading to hundreds of cites across France.
"My sister was burned because she was rebellious. She broke the rule of the cite which is to be submissive," says Sohane's elder sister, Kahina, in an interview on Web site www.macite.net.
"For her killer, she represented a thing. It was like he was vandalizing a car. Well, today, some more of us are rebelling. We are sick and tired of this oppression," she says.
This is only one of the many reports of gangs and crime in Europe linked to concentrations of Muslim youth in Europe. France, more than any other country, has this problem, and the only thing Chirac and his government have done is appease, appease and appease. That really worked well in 1940 also. Check this out, go to a search engine and enter the words: Europe, crime, muslims. It ain't a pretty picture.

2. The opinion of a great classical Muslim scholar.

Now a few words from Al-Ghazali, a Persian who lived in Baghdad (1058-1111). He is known as the Proof of Islam, and in Western literature as Algazel. Al-Ghazali authored a massive work, The Revival of the Religious Sciences. Al-Ghazali is known and respected throughout the Islamic world. Here is a comment on the damned infidels (that us!):
"One must go on jihad (i.e., warlike razzias or raids) at least once a year...one may use a catapult against them [non-Muslims] when they are in a fortress, even if among them are women and children. One may set fire to them and/or drown them...If a person of the Ahl al-Kitab [People of The Book - primarily Jews and Christians] is enslaved, his marriage is [automatically] revoked…One may cut down their trees...One must destroy their useless books. Jihadists may take as booty whatever they decide...they may steal as much food as they need... [T]he dhimmi [non-Muslim living under Islamic rule] is obliged not to mention Allah or His Apostle…Jews, Christians, and [Zoroastrians] must pay the jizya [tax on non-Muslims]…on offering up the jizya, the dhimmi must hang his head while the official takes hold of his beard and hits [the dhimmi] on the protruberant bone beneath his ear [i.e., the mandible]… They are not permitted to ostentatiously display their wine or church bells…their houses may not be higher than the Muslim's, no matter how low that is. The dhimmi may not ride an elegant horse or mule; he may ride a donkey only if the saddle[-work] is of wood. He may not walk on the good part of the road. They [the dhimmis] have to wear [an identifying] patch [on their clothing], even women, and even in the [public] baths…[dhimmis] must hold their tongue…."

This little guidebook for oppression is known as the Pact of Umar, and has regulated relations between Muslims and infidels for centuries, and is even in use today, in a modified form, in many Islamic countries. Another homework assignment: Do a search on the Internet, using the following terms: copts, egypt, persecution. Check it out.

3. A Brave, liberal Muslim, and what happens to him

This is from the report "The Life of a Liberal Muslim" by Franklin Foer, from the New Republic, 11/18/2002

The death threats began shortly after September 11, 2001...On September 14, 2001, Abou El Fadl had published an op-ed in the Los Angeles Times. Many Muslim Americans had condemned the week's attacks as un-Islamic. But Abou El Fadl felt this response amounted to an evasion. The attacks, he worried, didn't represent a deviation from mainstream Islam; they reflected a crisis at the core of the faith, the logical conclusion of "a puritanical and ethically oblivious form of Islam [that] has predominated since the 1970s." Centuries of Islamic intellectual development had been destroyed by the "rampant apologetics" of Muslim thinkers, which had "produced a culture that eschews self-critical and introspective insight and embraces projection of blame and a fantasy-like level of confidence and arrogance."

According to Abou El Fadl, the problems really began when ... In 1962, Saudi Arabia founded the Muslim World League to fund the distribution of Korans, the production of Wahhabi scholarship, and the building of mosques throughout the globe ... Through the Muslim World League, they began endowing chairs for scholars and funding departments. By the late '90s, it was growing difficult to find an Azhari who hadn't benefited from Saudi largesse--and who hadn't returned the favor with pro-Wahhabi scholarship.

Continuing the story... In May 1985, after Abou El Fadl completed his junior year at Yale, he returned home to Cairo for the summer... One evening, as he left his study circle, however, two plainclothes Egyptian policemen approached him... Next, the police transferred him to a notorious desert prison called Tora, rumored to be surrounded by the makeshift graves of torture victims. Abou El Fadl was suspended from the ceiling by his left arm for six-hour intervals; guards shocked him with electricity and pulled out his fingernails. After three weeks, and without a conviction, they released him. "Naively, I had assumed that the freedoms afforded in the United States, and the relative absence of political persecution, would allow for a Muslim intellectual rebirth." ... And so, after his 1985 visit, Abou El Fadl returned to the United States in self-imposed exile. He had high hopes for the Muslim community in the United States. Unlike the scholars at Al Azhar, they didn't have to contend with government censorship and Wahhabi oppressiveness, he imagined. "Naively, I had assumed that the freedoms afforded in the United States, and the relative absence of political persecution, would allow for a Muslim intellectual rebirth" ...But, instead of tolerance, Abou El Fadl found a community that wasn't significantly more open than the one he'd left behind. Where he expected vibrant intellectual debate, he found rigid conformity to Wahhabi-like practices. "As I move from mosque to mosque, I encounter Muslims who seem to think that the harsher and the more perverse the law, the more it's Islamic," he says. ... After finishing graduate school at Princeton in 1995, Abou El Fadl began publicly criticizing mainstream Islam, and it was not long before it got him in trouble. In 1997, while teaching at the University of Texas, he was driven from his mosque, the Islamic Center of Greater Austin. Finishing Friday supplications, he was interrupted by a man who "kindly invited" him into the building's boardroom. Entering the room, he found 15 men sitting around a long table. They took turns condemning his scholarship as heretical. A board member stood up and pronounced him "the great Satan." Abou El Fadl left the room. But congregants began to trail him on the street. One took off his shoe and began swinging it at him. The attack only stopped after the intervention of a passing graduate student.

I could go on and give you names of other brave, honest Muslims that had the courage to stand up and denounce the persecution of religious minorities, women, foreign workers, etc... Sadly, they are mostly dead or in prison. Even within the Muslim communities of Europe and the US, any attempt to question the dogma and practices of Islam is met with a furious, often violent reaction.

4.Ayaan Hirsi Ali and the young White Dutch Muslim

Now a quick story of a moment in the life of Hirsi Ali. For those who are uninformed, she is the person who worked with Theo Van Gogh on the film Submission, and she is one of the persons threatened by members of the "Religion of Peace" in the murder note. (Note, maybe it should be "Religion of Piece" - a piece of a body here, a piece of a body there. Bad joke!) Anyway, she has been in hiding while the radicals walk the streets of Europe. According to a Dutch blog, she and her guards were in a restaurant in Holland, when a Dutch convert to Islam approached her and tapped her on the shoulder. 'I turned around,' she recalls in her elegant English, 'and saw this sweet, young Dutch guy, about 24 years old. With freckles! And he was like, 'Madam, I hope the mujahedeen get you and kill you.' Hirsi Ali handed him her knife and told him, 'Why don't you do it yourself?' So what is it about this faith, what only finds happiness and fulfillment in pain, torture and death?

5.The problem with Europe's attitude toward terror

This section added later, from the website www.zachtei.nl, 7 april 2005. It pretty much says it all about why Europe has a problem. The Dutch writer is, I think, amazed that this could happen. Read on...

In the Netherlands, this is not enough to get you convicted for terrorism
As you can read somewhat further down, Samir Azzouz was acquitted yesterday of preparing a terrorist attack. So I figured it might be insightful to take a look at the verdict, which contains a list of all the items Azzouz had gathered.
• Maps and/or pictures and/or drawings of several government buildings, including Parliament, nuclear power plant Borssele, the ministry of Defence, Schiphol Airport, Dutch Intelligence Agency (AIVD), Dutch Special Forces HQ
• Notes describing necessities which would be needed to carry out these (terrorist attacks, AD) crime/crimes
• Notes describing routes to these buildings and/or circumvention of the security facilities around these buildings.
• Document entitled 'Advice for those who refrain from strife on the way to Allah', encompassing an explanation of the call for Jihad and martyrhood
• A memorandum containing the address of a website, namely www.geocities.com/m_13dad, which contained a 'Manual for preparation' for the Jihadi ranks, illustrating the use of (amongst others) weapons and/or night vision goggles and/or silencers and/or the fabrication of such and/or guerrila warfare and/or military operations.
• A diary containing the address of a website, www.geocities.com/sluitjeaan (sluitjeaan is Dutch for 'join up with us', AD)
• Notes describing the chemical formula of RDX, an explosive compound
• Discs containing 'video testaments' which rally for the Jihad, the murder of Americans, Jews and non-Arabs
• Files explaing how a Muslim should enter the battlefield
• Two clip holders for automatic firearms
• A silencer for an automatic firearm
• One or more soldered electrical circuits
• A bulletproof vest
• Night vision goggles
• Ammonia
• Hydrochloric acid
Also, Azzouz had travelled to Chechnya before to join up with Islamic militants there. On top of that, the judges were presented with loads of phone taps in which Azzouz spouted Jihadi texts. Nevertheless, the court concluded that 'apparently was more interested in religious extremism' than most people. (Note the absence of the word 'Islam'. I've checked it: the word appears nowhere in the verdict.)
It's a miracle this obviously innocent man hasn't been released sooner.
(Oh, by the way: Azzouz only got three months for unlawful possession of a firearm, rather than the maximum of three years the judges could have dished out if they had felt the DA screwed up in providing enough evidence for the terrorism charges to allow for a conviction, but agreed with the DA's assumptions.)

Jihad Made in Britain

Click for image Click for image Click for image England is in BIG trouble. Muslims come to the UK and refuse to be part of the country or to respect its laws. They bring their evils with them: sharia law, honor killings, female genital mutilation, forced marriages and, most of all, a hate for British society (see icons for newspaper reports). They go to mosques that preach hate and violence against non-Muslims. The take advantage of the generous welfare benefits and the liberties that come with being part of Western society, and they do everything possible to subvert and destroy it.

Below are a few lines of an article by Mary Jackson (Jan. 2008) about the attitude of British Muslims (or as they prefer, Muslims that live in Britain).

Rejecting Western liberty, democracy, art and free scientific enquiry, Muslims are more than willing to use Western products: mobile phones, DVDs and the internet. Often these technological innovations are used to spread an ideology directly opposed to the civilisation that made innovation possible.

My colleague’s post here about a Muslim Public Affairs Committee "training course" shows a chilling example of this. The "course" is designed to train Muslims to subvert the West and propagate a seventh century ideology. Yet it is couched in twenty-first century management speak. I have highlighted in bold the jargon which would not look out of place at a management consultants' training course or a new-agey life coaching session:

Groundbreaking courses with modules on Strategy, Political Affairs, the Media, Islamophobia and Political Jihad will teach you how. MPACUK Training is based on practical results. You will gain an understanding of some of the most important challenges facing Muslims in Britain and the world. It will deliver successfully proven and innovative solutions to these challenges and teach you how to counter an increasingly dangerous and threatening environment.

This embrace of “the Worst of British” is particularly evident in young Muslim men, who often grant themselves a great deal of licence, while restricting, even unto death, the behaviour of "their" women. Theodore Dalrymple observed a few years ago:

Many of them [...] dot the city with their concubines—sluttish white working-class girls... This is not religion, but having one’s cake and eating it.

[…]

Islam has no improving or inhibiting effect upon the behavior of my city’s young Muslim men, who, in astonishing numbers, have taken to heroin, a habit almost unknown among their Sikh and Hindu contemporaries. The young Muslims not only take heroin but deal in it, and have adopted all the criminality attendant on the trade. […]The young Muslims have little defense against the egotistical licentiousness they see about them and that they all too understandably take to be the summum bonum of Western life.

And what of the subjugated Muslim woman? Does she know her place, as British women once did? Is she meek and ladylike as our own women are no longer? Judge for yourself:

This picture, taken shortly after the Birmingham terrorist arrests, shows women whose dress is alien, but whose boorish truculence would match that of any of our home-grown “lumpen sluts”. Is this what the suffragettes fought for? Don’t mess with us, they say. We know our rights. For Britain, once home to the stiff-upper lip, now has a rights culture. And British Muslims scream “Islamophobia” if they don’t get their rights: the right to special food or clothing in schools, the right to be spared any kind of real or imagined offence, the right to a job – on their terms, however unreasonable - and above all the right to welfare payments, which they receive in disproportionately high numbers.

These demands, this sense of entitlement, should worry us far more than niqabs, gangsta rap, or even drugs. Welfare scrounging is not peculiar to Muslims, but Islam alone demands tribute from non-believers in the form of a special tax or jizya. This “right” is set out in the Koran, as part of the rules of jihad. Muslim scrounging is an act of jihad, and payment of benefits an act of dhimmitude.

British culture has been coarsened and cheapened by Muslims and non-Muslims alike. But Muslims’ rejection of our finest traditions and exploitation of our worst failings is driven by an ideology: jihad. Jihad made in Britain. This article was first published in Pajamas Media in December 2007.


Of course, government officials, the media, liberal church leaders and academia will tell us that the alienation we see in Muslims is all our fault. Always!

Orwell would be proud

Click for image It gets worse. Islamic terror is now Anti-Islamic Activity. Read the article by Mark Steyn:
My favorite headline of the year so far comes from The Daily Mail in Britain: "Government Renames Islamic Terrorism As 'Anti-Islamic Activity' To Woo Muslims."

Her Majesty's Government is not alone in feeling it's not always helpful to link Islam and the, ah, various unpleasantnesses with suicide bombers and whatnot. Even in his cowboy Crusader heyday, President Bush liked to cool down the crowd with a lot of religion-of-peace stuff. But the British have now decided that kind of mealy-mouthed "respect" is no longer sufficient. So, henceforth, any terrorism perpetrated by persons of an Islamic persuasion will be designated "anti-Islamic activity." Britain's Home Secretary, Jacqui Smith, unveiled the new brand name in a speech a few days ago. "There is nothing Islamic about the wish to terrorize, nothing Islamic about plotting murder, pain and grief," she told her audience. "Indeed, if anything, these actions are anti-Islamic."

Well, yes, one sort of sees what she means. Killing thousands of people in Manhattan skyscrapers in the name of Islam does, among a certain narrow-minded type of person, give Islam a bad name, and thus could be said to be "anti-Islamic" — in the same way that the Luftwaffe raining down death and destruction on Londoners during the Blitz was an "anti-German activity." Faithfreedom. click for site A must-visit site, and probably more hated than any other on the Internet - by Muslims. Ali Sena ignores the death threats and raises questions about Islam. This guy not only knows his stuff, he links to Muslim sites to prove his arguments. Be sure to read the debates and the comments sections. You will find that Mr. Sina is always racional and factual, as well as polite and gracious, unlike some other sites like Charles Johnson's LGF click for site. Enough!. click for site A rather bitter, strong opinioned site on the issue of Islam in Europe. I get the impression that he may not like Muslims.

This only proves that what goes around, comes around, or you reap what you sow. The Dutch (and much of the West) have been tolerant of Islamic intolerance for years, now they pay the price. Now even a statement like "Thou shalt not kill" is censored, because it is considered offensive by Muslims (Don't tell us we cannot kill!). Too bad these same leaders are never offended by the vile statements of these same "protected" groups. If the politicos and public leaders had taken action against the many hateful, unacceptable dogmas preached in the Mosques for decades, Van Vogh would still be alive and schools, mosques and churches would not have been attacked.
The Dutch and all of Europe had better develop a real intolerance for intolerance, not the PC version that excuses all non-Western cultures from criticism, and make it clear that free speech is for all people, all the time, in all circumstances. The fact is that Islam is basically contrary to the ideals of equality and human rights. Read the Quran - it is very clear that non-muslims and women, and other groups are to be second class citizens at best (or dead is alright too).
It is a fact that where Islam dominates, other religions, women, gays, jews, etc are oppressed and discriminated against. Muslims don't want to hear this, they prefer the PC version "Islam means peace" that our leaders feed to the foolish public.
Holland and the rest of Europe had better deal with this now, because it will only get worse. I am very pessimistic about the ability of Muslims to accept Western ideals and still be honest Muslims. A look at Islamic sites, or Muslim online forums, shows that there are mostly only two kinds of Muslims: those that will kill you themselves (the so-called fundamentalists) and the ones that will let other Muslims kill you and then make excuses (the so-called moderates). It is just like the James Lileks quote on this blog. What to do? I don't know, but the West had better do something - else the future will mean no freedoms, no rights, no pensions - only misery, pain and death.

I am pessimistic, but I know something has to be done. If things continue to go forward, a lot of good people will be hurt, both Muslims and Europeans. The fact is that even Europeans are not so stupid to continue to believe the multicultural crap their leaders and intellectuals are feeding them. They will start joining right-wing, anti-immigrant parties and adopting a much harsher attitude. This is help nobody except the radicals on both sides. It is a lose-lose situation.

I have absolutely no faith in the so-called 'Moderate' Muslims. They have never done anything except make excuses and distort things. It would be nice if Muslims could save Islam from itself, and extend a hand in peace to other religions, living and let live. Ain't going to happen!

The Muslims in the West will not assimilate or integrate. Modern technolody, sheer numbers and European Social policy have made this unnecessary. They can watch Jihad live on their satellite TVs, hear radical hate speeches in their mosques and download the latest infidel beheading on the Internet. They have their own schools, newspapers, radio and shops. If they can't find work, a welfare check is in the mail. The fact is that latinos that go to Europe will intergrate quickly, even Asians will learn the local languages and live with the Europeans. Muslims, for the most part, cannot and will not, and don't have to! That is a fact!

And it is not right to just expel them, sending them back to their homelands, as some propose. That is against our values of tolerance and equality. They don't really share these values, but they will take advantage of them. They are not stupid! And they sure don't want to go back to Islamic countries. They may hate the West, but they don't want to leave.

So what to do? Simple. Tell them the truth, and then tell them the truth again, and then yet again. Ask them why Muslims persecute and oppress other religions. Talk about history! Ask them why they insist that 'jihad' means everything but "Holy War". Ask them about the "Kill all the infidels," "beat your wives" and "women are stupid" passages in the Koran. Don't let them deny the sad and evil aspects of the life of their prophet. Make it clear that you know that the Quran and the Imans do not preach peace, tolerance and equality. Ask how they can blindly follow a slaver - a man that brought so much pain, suffering and death to so many. Ask them why they are living among the infidels, when their writings say not to. Be blunt, be kind and be honest. Do your homework! Ask what they are doing about persecuted women and minorities in Islamic countries. Ask them about 'honor killings' and 'female genital multilations'. Don't let them claim that this is not Islam, because Muslims are always saying that Islam is a complete way of life, and includes all aspects of belief, culture and politics. Believe me, they will not thank you for this, but it is for their own good. If it is a fact, then it isn't hate - it is just the plain truth.

As far as I'm concerned, the issue is not what Muslims say, but what they do where they control society. Maybe, just maybe, they will undertand that tolerance is a two way street. Maybe they will treat others as they wish to be treated. Maybe then the words "Religion of Peace" will not be used to mock Muslims. On the other hand, they may really get pissed off - Oh well, see if I care!
