I've heard claims made that immigration costs Sweden 40 - 50 billion Swedish kroner every year, and has contributed significantly to Sweden's economic woes: More immigrants should be allowed into Sweden in order to safeguard the welfare system. That’s the view of Pär Nuder, Sweden’s finance minister. Speaking at a conference on demography at Statistics Sweden, Nuder argued that getting more people with a foreign background into the labour force is “totally crucial” for securing the Swedish welfare state. Nuder stated that he was open to the idea of sanctioning new immigration and that such a measure may enhance existing integration policies. “Importing labour can break new ground and serve as a model for others. At the minimum it can get employers and others to realise the value of the immigrants that are already here”.So, to solve the problem of hign unemployment, the government brings in more people that do not have skills to do the work. Smart! In Sweden immigrants are unemployed and draw welfare benefits at an astronomical rate, much, much higher than native Swedes. When they work and contribute, they pay much less. This idiot (Nuder) first says that Sweden needs more immigrants, then says that they should get the ones already in Sweden to actually work. This whole logic is unbelievable! It is time for a revolution in Sweden. If you think that Sweden has problems now, wait until a few million more immigrants show up to be fed. If you think that crime and rape are epidemic now, just wait a few years (yes, do a Google search on "Muslims," "crime," and "Sweden" or "Europe").
Nuder explained that the key to preserving the welfare state involves increasing the total number of hours worked by the Swedish labour force. This can be achieved by getting young people into jobs earlier than today and encouraging older workers to remain in employment for longer. More people than ever are using marriages of convenience to avoid being deported from Britain... But registrars have no legal backing to act against ceremonies they suspect to be sham marriages of convenience. Many turn a blind eye because they fear being sued if they halt proceedings of a marriage that turns out to be bona fide.
But Mark Rimmer, a senior registrar in London, is one of the few who has taken the law into his own hands and stopped a ceremony if he is suspicious.
He says he still probably carries out one bogus marriage every day. "We've seen money changing hands in the car park after the marriage. We've actually seen envelopes passed to each other before they get in the car. They then get in the car and go in separate directions - they're the blatant ones," he said.
The Home Office is aware that this is a huge and growing problem. "For many who previously dealt in drugs, trafficking in people is now the business they're switching to because the penalties are less - and we've got to look at that - and the costs of doing it are cheaper. The profits are bigger," said the Immigration Minister, Mike O'Brien.

Multiple wives will mean multiple benefits (By Jonathan Wynne-Jones)The ruling says: "Income support for all of the wives may be paid directly into the husband's bank account, if the family so choose. Under the deal agreed by ministers, a husband with multiple wives may also be eligible for additional housing benefit and council tax benefit to reflect the larger property needed for his family." Husbands with multiple wives have been given the go-ahead to claim extra welfare benefits following a year-long Government review, The Sunday Telegraph can reveal.

So, Denmark granted freedom to 321 persecuted people. Wonderful. End of story. Immediately after-wards, it turned out that more than 200 of the Palestinians had traveled home on vacation after the granting of residence. Then it turned out that while their asylum application was still being processed (and ultimately turned down), 312 of them had also been on vacation in their home country - some even to get married. 13 years later we know that 238 of them are on public welfare, 135 have been convicted of crimes, of their 110 children have 62 been convicted of crimes. Their reunificated family members statistics have not been recorded but I'm sure they're interesting reading...The abuse of the asylum laws by immigrants, both legal and illegal - is well-known. Many middle-eastern immigrants freely admit they lied to gain asylum status. The problem has been addressed by many European countries - but only in a limited way. I used to volunteer at the International Red Cross in Oslo, and around three years ago, I helped with some translation work for the Forced Marriages Hot-Line they run. Many of the calls they receive are from young second-generation girls who fear their parents are going to marry them off when they visit "the homeland" during their summer vacations from school. This is a critical situation, because once the families are abroad, there is virtually nothing the Red Cross or anyone can do to help the girl. If the family wants her to marry uncle Aqbah, then she's probably going to have to go through with it, unless she manages against all odds to run away, hitchhike from her village and make it to a Norwegian Embassy or to a women's shelter, which is pretty unlikely. And, thanks to disturbingly lenient family reunion laws in Norway, uncle Aqbah usually gets to join the family back to Norway, where he can screw his young niece/wife to his heart's content.The only thing that I would add is that while screwing his wife/niece/cousin he will also doubtless be screwing the Norwegian taxpayer also. Unfortunately, all this does not mean that Denmark’s problems are over. The toughening of immigration and integration policies has also encountered strong opposition. Unknown attackers set fire to the immigration minister's car. Rikke Hvilshoj, her husband and two young children were rescued from their house. A group calling itself "Beatte Without Borders" has said it carried out the attack, condemning the government's "racist immigration policy. Scandinavians were once involved in blood feuds, too. It's called the Viking Age, and we left it behind a thousand years ago, as should Muslims have done. We have no particular urge to return to a primitive tribal society. Yet too many of our "new countrymen" seem to insist on bringing one into our living room. Muslims make up less than 4 % of the population in Denmark, one of the toughest countries in Western Europe when it comes to confronting Islam. The fact that many of them, some even born and raised in the country, can still flaunt such blatant disregard for the most fundamental principles of our society should have alarm bells ringing all over Europe. Time is long overdue for some brutal honesty: Islam cannot coexist with Western society. All its basic tenets are hostile to every single idea on which liberal democracy and Western civilization are founded. Speaking after the Prime Minister announced his clampdown, father-of-seven Sheik Omar Bakri said: "I have wives, children, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law. It would be hard on my family if I was deported."
Since Syrian-born Bakri settled in Britain, he and his extended family have raked in benefits amounting to at least £300,000. He is registered disabled because of an injury to his leg during his childhood, and was recently supplied with a £31,000 Ford Galaxy under the Motability scheme.

"If they want to change the law and say that people who are here must live within the framework of those rules, then that is fine," said the 45-year-old cleric.
"But they cannot punish people by backdating it for 20 years or so.
"That is not a smart or fair system. Tony Blair should have charged me years ago if that was the case. He did not because I had done nothing wrong."
Bakri also claimed he had tried to dissuade affected young Muslims from carrying out terror attacks in Britain, by telling them that under Islamic law it would be wrong to target a country in which they were living.
